Editorial Standards

Every fact in our articles comes from a source we can name, such as scientific institutions, museums, zoos and aquariums, universities, journals, conservation bodies and reputable science publications. Each article lists its sources at the end.

We do not name an animal, a figure or a quote that we cannot trace to a source.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, email editor@freakycreatures.com with the link and what is wrong. We correct the article and add a note at the foot saying what changed and when.
