Cricket Wireless and Zoo Atlanta have renewed their relationship through a multi-year agreement that will bring back PandaCam presented by Cricket. The service will connect viewers around the world with giant pandas Ping Ping and Fu Shuang. Cricket will remain a Zoo Atlanta sponsor under the renewed agreement. The return of PandaCam was announced October 20, 2026.
Watching Panda Milestones
PandaCam is intended to let fans observe giant panda behaviors and follow the animals’ milestones from home. The renewed relationship will also create opportunities for Atlanta families and Zoo visitors to connect with the Zoo and its animals.
Angela Rittgers, President at Cricket Wireless, said:
“At Cricket, we believe connection can bring people closer to the moments they love, whether they're together at the Zoo or watching from home. Through our continued support of Zoo Atlanta and the return of PandaCam, families and fans everywhere can follow Ping Ping and Fu Shuang and share in every memorable moment.”
A New Home In Atlanta
Ping Ping and Fu Shuang arrived at Zoo Atlanta on September 27, 2026, through a new International Cooperative Research Agreement on Giant Panda Conservation between Zoo Atlanta and the China Wildlife Conservation Association. Their newly updated home, Arthur M. Blank Panda Grove, is set to open on November 6.
Raymond B. King, President and CEO at Zoo Atlanta, said:
“Giant pandas are a rare and treasured species beloved by people around the world. Thanks to our partnership with Cricket Wireless, with the launch of PandaCam, panda fans will be able to watch them regardless of where they are. We look forward to new opportunities to engage our visitors and community through this valued collaboration.”
Continuing The Connection
Together, Cricket Wireless and Zoo Atlanta will continue creating memorable experiences that bring families, communities, and panda fans closer to the moments they love.
